Kindle: Northern New England Bioneers will be held in the Arts District of Portland, Maine, October 16th, 17th 2009. Kindle is a beacon of hope as we illuminate the work of change agents and thought provocateurs who are ready to share ideas and strategies that inform and inspire positive change. We will coursing in and out of social institutions as the cultural corridor comes alive for two remarkable days. Kindle will host the live satellite downlink of the 20th Annual Bioneers Conference in California, Workshops with regional gurus, musical performances, and one of a kind surprises.

Food & Water Watch is supporting Kindle, the Northern New England Bioneers conference, in the effort to make the three-day conference bottled water-free. Reusable stainless steel canteens with Food & Water Watch’s Take Back the Tap campaign logo will be provided to the first 200 conference participants so they can quench their thirst with safe, clean Portland tap water.

Tickets to this years Conference will be offered on a sliding scale form $70-225. We are offering this years tickets on a sliding scale to allow people who can not pay the full price to still attend the conference.
