Kaleidoscope is by design an organization that believes fully in the concept that leadership begins with oneself. How one intentionally moves through the world, what values one carries forward, where one pauses and where one accelerates all define an individual's personal leadership. Kaleidoscope as a mission-driven, social enterprise endeavors to demonstrate the highest principled leadership qualities demonstrated daily through action in addition to beliefs.
Organizational leadership is no different. In today's complex and highly sophisticated social structures one must be decisive and thoughtful, must be inclusive and also authentic. Leadership therefore must be fair, firm, and friendly. It also should be consistent, collaborative, and transparent. From top to bottom leadership at Kaleidoscope whether it be volunteer or paid staff, councils or committees, vendors or presenters will be both an honored state of mind as well as an earned designation of highest regard.
Kaleidoscope's mission put simply:
- Congregate innovators and change agents, providing a platform for their revolutionary systems, products or services to be promoted, celebrated and replicated.
- Increase environmental and social justice awareness, through a virtual on-line community and through dynamic conferences and workshops.
- Broadcast extraordinary examples of leaders, leadership, and courage in the restoration revolution, disseminating their efforts as widely as possible- posting case studies, blogs, pod-casts, etc.
- Remaining fresh, ever vigilant of the latest trends, ideas, and technology that are leading, not following, providing emergent sustainable concepts to an ever-growing curious and particular constituency.
